Welcome to Faith for Daily Living
The Word in Your World
HOW IS YOUR FAITH?
So the Lord made a covenant with Abram that day and said, “I have given this land to your descendants, all the way from the border of Egypt to the great Euphrates River” Genesis 15:18 NLT
How is your faith? Maybe like Abram you are sitting looking at your life and wondering “How?“; “Why?“; “What?“; “When?“. Listen, our Lord is not afraid of our questions. He is not opposed to us asking them. All He is looking for is that person who will come before Him in faith. He is looking for that person who will simply take Him at His Word and believe Him, regardless of how things look or how they may personally feel about the matter. He is looking for those that He can mature into His own likeness and for His Own glory. Are you that person? Do you want all that the Lord has for you? Letting Him move you toward maturity. It all begins with us taking that first step of faith. Asking Him to begin working in our lives. This is the way forward to overcome the fears and disappointments of life. Hearing and believing God’s Word, His wonderful promise to give us the promised land, to give us heaven itself. This is the very reason God saves us, to give us the promised land of heaven, the glorious hope of living together in fellowship with Him forever and ever. This hope, the hope of heaven, helps to erase fear and disappointment. For we know that whatever happens to us, even if someone kills our bodies, our souls will live on and on forever with our Risen, Ascended, Lord Jesus Christ.
